The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
